Option 1Connecting directly to a fuel supply line without a snap-in connector (recommended)1. Remove threaded cap, spout and cover from gas can 2. Insert the hose end of the JERRY-BUDDYTM assembly (B) into gas can. Feed until the bung (A) rests against the can’s opening 3. Replace gas can cap, without spout and cover, ensuring to thread it on properly 4. Remove snap-in connector from engine's fuel supply hose (if installed) 5. For 1/4" and 5/16" hoses:

Option 2Using your manufacturer's snap-in fuel line connector (not supplied; please see your dealer)1. Remove threaded cap, spout and cover from gas can 2. Insert the hose end of the JERRY-BUDDYTM assembly (B) into gas can. Feed until the bung (A) rests against the can’s opening 3. Replace gas can cap, without spout and cover, ensuring to thread it on properly 4. Place short hose (D) over exposed JERRY-BUDDYTM tip (A) and secure with adjustable clamp (C) 5. Insert threaded adapter (F) into other end of short hose (D) and secure with adjustable clamp (C) 6. Thread in a compatible snap-in adapter (G) according to your engine's specifications. Please see your manufacturer for details Using non-vented fuel cans may cause the system to become air locked. Ventilation is required for proper operation. Do not disassemble the JERRY-BUDDYTM assembly. Doing so may create an unsafe condition, and proper operation cannot be guaranteed. |
